Crushing Traffic

“Build it and they will come” only works in the movies.

Google indexes over 1 trillion unique links. Yes, that’s 1,000,000,000 links. And that’s only the links it knows about. It doesn’t include the areas of the ‘Dark Web’ – databases and private nets that can’t be seen by Google. Adding one more site (even yours…) to the pile won’t guarantee anything. You must make a conscious effort to produce traffic.

Why generate traffic?

Traffic leads to new customers, which leads to new sales.

Traffic to your website can be used to gather new product feedback and it can even serve as a business model. Regardless, you should be focusing on the traffic to your sites.

Surprisingly, this is the most overlooked factor by web designers.
