Freelances won’t offer a guarantee because they’re scared of someone taking advantage of them. On the other hand, if I know I might not be getting paid, then I’m only going deliver stellar work. And, for you, you know you’ll get the best results because if you don’t, you can use the guarantee.
Am I scared of people taking advantage of me? Not really. Usually it’s obvious when a client isn’t going to pay or is wrong for me. And, in those cases, I don’t take the job. I help them find someone who is right for them.
The guarantees vary depending on the work. Here are a few examples:
Copywriting – I’ll do 2 re-writes for you on any copy I write for you.
SEO – I’ll guarantee you a higher position in the search engines for certain terms
Lead Generation – I’ll offer a pay-for-performance type of arrangement.
