Pricing

August 4, 2008

Pricing is a difficult topic. It’s hard to put a price on knowledge and experience. And, at least with some companies, many people don’t appreciate the full extent of expertise and can’t grasp the subtle nuances gained from experience.

Every campaign is different, so this might not be representative of yours, but here’s the basic outline, with 3 exceptions.

Small campaigns usually spend from $2,000 – $5,000 a month for about 1 year.

Medium campaigns usually spend from $7,000 – $12,000 a month for about 1 year.

Larger campaigns have been all over the place.

There are 3 exceptions:

Non-profits – I do work with non-profits. However, there is often a queue. I have several groups lined up waiting to work. I dedicate a certain percentage of my time in order to help them, but I still need to make money. Also, it is better if you approach me well ahead of your project.

Joint Venturess / Back-end compensation – I’m always open to joint venture deals where we both can be successful. I’m looking for interesting and lucrative deals. My role can be on the marketing or on the tech side, but the concept should be clear, concise, and well-articulated. Please don’t approach me with ill-formed ideas. Also, I’ve been burned several times in the past by less than honest people. So, if you think you can try to scheme me over, you can’t.

Trade – In the rarest of rarest of occasions, I will do trade. You can certainly ask, but don’t be upset when I say no. And make sure you have a back-up plan.

Influence

August 4, 2008

Psychology and Sociology have been a major factor in my past work. Some of the most exciting research being done today is in the areas of behavior, the brain, and decision making. We are starting to offer a new service that focuses on Influence.

The service will involve performing additional analysis and research on the marketing campaign and the customer’s psychographics. There will be an evaluating schema in which we review the current campaign and suggest ways for improvement based on the analysis of the customer demographic.

The details are being finalized. If you would like to hear more immediately and be considered for our trial run (including the discounted prices), please email me.
